Zorbing (globe-riding, sphereing, orbing) is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside.
Zorbing is a sport involving a large transparent ball where the participant is secured inside an inner capsule and rolled along the ground or downhill. The Groovy Balls Park has two professionally designed runs catering for everyone’s adrenalin level, you can choose between the Kamikaze and Twister runs both 120m long. Try out the Aqua Zorb (wet ride), a strapless ride with 20 litres of water place in the ball with you so you are free to slide in the bottom of the ball surrounded by a pocket of air. Or enjoy the Harness Zorb (dry ride), where you are strapped to the sidewall. Both rides can be enjoyed with a friend.
So whether you want to arrange a corporate team-building event, a fun activity for someone’s Birthday, work Christmas parties or just a fun day out with friends and family, check out zorbing at Groovy Balls Park where the friendly team will make sure you have the most fantastic zorbing experience.
